HNBR

Hydrogenated Nitrile(HNBR) is a synthetic polymer which is formulated by saturating double bonds of the Nitrile Butadiene elastomer chain with hydrogen. This results in  HNBR possesses superior heat, ozone, chemical resistance and mechanical characteristics over standard Nitrile.

HNBR

Below lists our most common grades. Material Datasheets are available via the office.

SSOL-HNBR-85

  • is a Black general purpose HNBR Peroxide cured grade material. Due to its good physical characteristics and chemical resistance with most commonly used hydraulic fluids, it is well suited for a wide range of applications. HNBR materials are often used in vegetable and animal oils as well as in highly additivated oils, sour oils/gases (H₂S) and crude oils.

SSOL-HNBR-85-RGD

  • is a Black HNBR Peroxide cured grade material which has been optimized to withstand the risk of rapid gas decompression (RGD) or explosive decompression (ED) with increased sour oils/gases (H₂S) resistance.

SSOL-HNBR-85-RGD-LT

  • is a Black HNBR Peroxide cured grade material which has been optimized to withstand the risk of rapid gas decompression (RGD) or explosive decompression (ED) with increased low temperature capability.
